St Patrick’s Day BBQ and Quiz

Thanks to all those attended the St Patrick’s Day bbq and quiz.  By the end of the night we had raised well over £100 pounds to make our total up to a fantastic £152 for the Hospice.  I hope to continue to collect throughout the year and the Club can then present a cheque sometime in December.

I hope everyone had a great night and thanks to all those who helped with the setting up, cooking and cleaning.

Finally I would like to thank the Five Corners Inn and the Ballyclare Golf Club for their kind contributions towards the raffle and congratulations to those who won the meals.

For those who were unable to make it, put this one in you diary for next year!

Thanks again

Alan

Lapua Batch Testing

Lapua batch testing at Annaginny Range, Dungannon on the 23rd, 24th and 25th March 2012.

Lapua Technicians will be using their tried and tested methods of ammo selection for your specific barrel, something which can only normally be done at Bisley or the Lapua factory in Germany.

This allows shooters to use selected Rifle Match, Centre-X or Midas+ instead of buying “off the shelf”. This is a superb opportunity for those of you buying the ammunition already, allowing you to get “selected ammunition” at the same price.

Testing must be booked in advance by contacting Sam Kelly at the details shown below. The cost for testing is £45.00 per barrel, and there is no minimum purchase. However purchases of 5,000 rounds or over will avail of a 5% discount on list prices.

Click HERE to view ammunition price list.

If you would like any further information please contact;

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

The committee would like to wish all of our members, friends and the wider shooting community at home and abroad, a very merry and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Our thanks go to everyone who helped to make our Centenary year such a success, and to all our members who represented the club in the various leagues, competitions and shooting related endeavours.

Best of luck for 2012.

Christmas Greetings to Members and Friends of East Antrim RPC

EARPC Centenary Plaque

The committee have arranged a strictly limited run of commemorative plaques which are available for purchase by members/friends, and will be of the same type as those presented during our Centenary dinner.

For those of you that weren’t able to attend, or who didn’t get to see one (or win one!), the plaque is made from black glass with polished/bevelled edges and is laser engraved with the club logo, centenary year confirmation and members name.  (See picture below) :-Centenary Plaque Sample

The final cost of the plaque will be dependent on the total number ordered but it should be less than £16 each. Please Note, the club is not making any money from of the sale of these items, as they will passed on at cost.

A number of members have already reserved their plaque through the list which had been on the club noticeboard for several weeks, however this has now been removed with a view to placing the order in early January.

There is still time to order one, but you must let me know before 5th January.  If there is anyone else you think may like one (even if not a member), please let them know asap.  Once the order has been placed it will not be possible to add to it, and there will be no further orders placed.

You can contact me by clicking HERE

Finally, if you haven’t already done so and are struggling to find the time, why not register on the club website over Christmas?  Just follow the guide to registering which you’ll find HERE.

There’s lots of useful information, competition results, photo galleries, and much more.

Christmas wishes and best regards

Mark Sullivan
